           Kälah atyagät mahän. Mahän means very powerful, great. You may be a very big scientist and very powerful politician, you don't care for anything, but you cannot conquer over the mahän, the great powerful time. Oh, that is not possible. You don't care for God. But God will come. You will see. Kälo 'smi. When Krishna showed the gigantic form, viräth-mürti, Arjuna enquired, "Who are You, Sir?" Krishna replied, kälo 'smi: "I am käla, käla. I have appeared to take away all these sinful demons." So Krishna appears still in form of war, big gigantic war, and takes away so many millions of people by one stroke.

  However powerful you may be, but the anxiety must be there. So if you want to get relief from this uncomfortable position of anxiety, then you must take to this Hare Krishna mantra. This is our request. You can try for it and you will see the practical result. 

It will not cost you anything; there is no loss about it.

 A human being is not to eat anything which is not offered to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. A devotee therefore eats only prasäda, or foodstuffs offered to the Supreme Lord, and Krishna says that when a devotee offers Him foodstuffs from the vegetable kingdom, with devotion, He eats that. 

A devotee is to offer to Krishna foodstuffs prepared from vegetables. If the Supreme Lord wanted foodstuffs prepared from animal food, the devotee could offer this, but He does not order to do that.

One becomes freed from all sinful reactions by eating foodstuffs which are offered to Yagna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Spiritual life means Selflessness and Material life is more of Selfi-shness!

Hare Krishna dear  friends, 

            To the gross materialist who cannot see anything beyond the gross material body, there is nothing beyond the senses. Therefore his occupational activities are limited to concentrated and extended selfishness. Concentrated selfishness centers around the personal body—this is generally seen amongst the lower animals. Extended selfishness is manifested in human society and centers around the family, society, community, nation and world with a view to gross bodily comfort. 

  But above the body and mind is the dormant spirit soul whose absence from the body makes the whole range of bodily and mental selfishness completely null and void. But less intelligent people have no information of the needs of the spirit soul. Without knowing the need of the dormant soul, one cannot be happy simply with emolument of the body and mind which are superfluous outer coverings of the spirit soul.

The spirit soul's needs must be fulfilled. The hankering soul must be satisfied by Krishna Consciousness, the perfect scientific process of perfect devotional service to the Lord Krishna.

Desire-Less is not possible but one can try for Less-Desire!

          Food, shelter, defense and sense gratification are all needs in material existence. Otherwise, in his pure, uncontaminated state of original life, the living entity has no such needs. The needs are therefore artificial, and in the pure state of life there are no such needs. As such, increasing the artificial needs, as is the standard of material civilization, or advancing the economic development of human society, is a sort of engagement in darkness, without knowledge. By such engagement, human energy is spoiled, because human energy is primarily meant for purifying the senses in order to engage them in satisfying the senses of the Supreme Lord.

                       One may claim proprietorship to as much wealth as required to maintain body and soul together, but one who desires proprietorship over more than that must be considered a thief, and he deserves to be punished by the laws of nature. The living entity cannot be desireless or senseless, but he does have to change the quality of the desires.

          To become desireless means not to desire anything for sense gratification. In other words, desire for becoming Krishna conscious is actually desirelessness. 

To understand one's actual position as the eternal servitor of Krishna, without falsely claiming this material body to be oneself and without falsely claiming proprietorship over anything in the world, is the perfect stage of Krishna consciousness.

Live Life to Learn to Leave this world!

Hare Krishna, 

           Although the body bestows great benefit by enabling one to learn about this world, one should always remember its unhappy, inevitable future. If cremated, the body is burned to ashes by fire; if lost in a lonely place, it is consumed by jackals and vultures; and if buried in a luxurious coffin, it decomposes and is consumed by insignificant insects and worms. One should, however, carefully maintain bodily health to execute Krishna consciousness, but without undue affection or attachment. By studying the body's birth and death, one can acquire virakti-viveka, the intelligence to detach oneself from useless things. 

           

  The word avasita indicates conviction. One should be convinced of all the truths of Krishna consciousness.Lord Krishna therefore begins His instruction in Bhagavad-Gita by clearing away the dense ignorance of the bodily concept of life. Religion means the law of God. 

The Lord's final order is that every  conditioned soul surrender unto Him, learn to serve and love Him in this world, and thus go back home, back to Godhead. 

This is the process of Krishna Consciousness.

Prevention is better than Cure! Most applicable to Spiritual life!

Cheaters are always there to manufacture their own way of spiritual realization. To get some material benefit, the conditioned soul approaches these pseudo sannyäsis and yogis for cheap blessings, but he does not receive any benefit from them, either spiritual or material. In this age there are many cheaters who show some jugglery and magic. They even create gold to amaze their followers and their followers accept them as God. This type of cheating is very prominent in Kali-yuga. 

If Guru is required, why not interact with the best man? If we require others to understand ourselves, why should we not seek the best man for our own understanding? We should receive help from the man who knows. If you take the advice of one who can give you the right direction, your end will be glorious.

Connect to Bona fide Spiritual Guru, Connection with Bhagavan Sri Krishna is guaranteed!

Acharya Vishvanätha Chakravarti Thäkura describes the real guru: 

saàsära-dävänala-léòha-loka-

träëäya käruëya-ghanäghanatvam

präptasya kalyäëa-guëärëavasya

vande guroù çré-caraëäravindam

 One should approach a guru who can extinguish the blazing fire of struggle for existence in this material world, the color of gold is compared to the will-o'-the-wisp or yellow stool; therefore one should not be allured by gold-manufacturing gurus. One cannot become happy by accepting a false guru. A guru should be accepted as advised in Srimad-Bhägavatam (11.3.21). Tasmäd guruà prapadyeta jijïäsuù çreya uttamam: One should approach a bona fide guru to inquire about the highest benefit of life. Such a guru is described as follows: çäbde pare ca niñëätam. Such a guru does not manufacture gold or juggle words. He is well versed in the conclusions of Vedic knowledge. He is freed from all material contamination and is fully engaged in Krishna's service.

If one is able to obtain the dust of the lotus feet of such a guru,

 His life becomes successful and attains the ultimate goal of life. 

Otherwise,he is baffled both in this life and in the next.

Calamities are Creation of Collective Committed Crimes!

Hare Krishna,

Now if you are willingly killing cows and so many animals, so how much we are being responsible? Therefore at the present moment there is war and calamities, and the human society becomes subjected to be killed in mass massacre—the nature's law. There will be so many accidents for killing. When Krishna kills wholesale. Krishna kills, they assemble all the killers and kill.

These are reactions brought about by unrestricted animal-killing in the slaughterhouse and many other methods. Proud, demoniac persons do not know the laws of nature, or the laws of God. Consequently, they unrestrictedly kill poor animals, not caring for them at all. In the Krishna consciousness movement, animal-killing is completely prohibited. One is not accepted as a bona fide student in this movement unless he promises to follow the four regulative principles: no animal-killing, no intoxication, no illicit sex and no gambling.

This Hare Krishna consciousness Movement is the only means by which the sinful activities of men in this Kali-yuga can be counteracted.
